The nearest airports are Itanagar (Hollongi Airport) and Lilabari Airport (Assam). From these airports, you’ll need to take a cab or shared taxi to Ziro, which takes about 3–4 hours. Most flights from major cities connect via Kolkata or Guwahati.
By Train
The closest railway station is Naharlagun (near Itanagar). From Naharlagun, taxis and shared cabs are available to Ziro.
By Road
You can also travel by road from Guwahati or Itanagar. The drive from Itanagar to Ziro takes around 4–5 hours, while from Guwahati it takes about 12–14 hours.
Tip: Roads in Arunachal can be bumpy and winding, so if you’re traveling with kids or elders, plan rest stops along the way.
